Welcome New Teacher Michael Polio

Michael is a Music Educator from Marine City, Michigan. He attended Eastern Michigan University from 2015-2020. In his personal time he is a motorsports fanatic, amature photographer, and shows quarter horses. 

Michael is inspired by people and wisdom. He states "There are truly strong and inspiring individuals in the world who beat all the odds against them and they have fantastic stories and lessons to be heard. Listening to people who have had their back to the wall and succeeded inspires me immensely to succeed and have stories like these of my own." 

Michael is excited to bring a lifelong love of music to the students at Our Lady of the Lakes. He believes that music can be very important to people's identities, mental health, and overall enhance people's lives. He is truly ecstatic to bring this to his new students. 

Michael loves Catholic school because the learning environment and curriculum can reflect and use all of God's great resources he has provided us to use to impact our own lives. He states "Through God, we can use his strength and teachings to draw our own strength to be educated and live out our true potential."
