Michigan State University recently held its 19th annual HATS OFF recognition ceremony honoring high achieving middle school students in Michigan who took the SAT test or ACT test as part of the Northwestern University Midwest Academic Talent Search (NUMATS).
Allison Voto, currently a 7th grade Our Lady of the Lakes student, was recognized as one of the top 100 scores of Michigan students who took the ACT or SAT as a 6th grader. She was one of only nine students in the state who qualified on both tests. Allison was recognized by members of the NUMATS Advisory Board with about 300 other distinguished middle school students for their outstanding accomplishments at the annual HATS OFF recognition ceremony for High Achieving Talented Students. She was able to meet with both the Assistant Dean at the Honors College and the Executive Director of Admissions at Michigan State University.
Congratulations, Ms. Voto!
