MICHIGAN&#039;S ROE V. WADE MARCH &amp; MEMORIAL

The Laker Bus to the RTL March in Washington D.C. had to be cancelled for a myriad of reasons. The students and chaperones were disappointed that we were unable to travel to the 49^th March for Life.

Fr. Scott encouraged us to attend the Memorial & March in Lansing on January 19^th at the state capitol building. Michelle Konarzewski, the youth minister, and I scrambled to organize a group of students to attend this March. Our tough Lakers braved the bitter cold to participate in this Lansing March. Paul Brower and Luke Clason were selected to lead the March and carry the Unity for Life Banner.

I want to thank Antony Blazevic and Mike Miller, members of our Knights of Columbus, who volunteered to drive our students, along with Debbie Brenner and Greg Ronquillo.

I am proud of our students who marched for the dignity of every human life. Praying this will be the last March for Life and Roe V. Wade Memorial.
