Laker Staff Spotlight: Anne Broderick, Debbie Pfahl, and Jamie Rodriguez, Kitchen Staff

Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic School is blessed to have three dedicated women hard at work each day in the school kitchen. With decades of combined food service experience, Anne Broderick, Jamie Rodriguez, and Debbie Pfahl diligently work to provide nutritious meals for all our students PK-12. 

That’s one of their favorite things about Lakes, it’s a big family of all ages and the trio feed all of us from age 3 to our faculty and staff. Our Laker family is, like most families, brought together by food. Some of the favorites include homemade macaroni and cheese, nachos, mashed potato bowls, and of course the wide variety of desserts. Which desserts are the favorite of Mrs. Broderick and Mrs. Pfahl’s favorites to make: cookies, brownies, chocolate gluten free chex mix, and oreo and chocolate mousse. 

Outside of the kitchen, Mrs. Broderick and Mrs. Pfahl love crafted and sewing, while Mrs. Roriguez runs and does boot camp. 

We’ll leave you with their collective advice to Laker students: be kind to each other, do the best in everything you do, and always believe in yourself!
