Over the weekend, Our Lady of the Lakes coaches, student-athletes, parents, and supporters were working hard to upgrade the Michael Boyd Athletic Complex for the spring athletic season.
Both baseball and softball fields were rejuvenated with new infields. The hard workers moved 160 tons of dirt with tractors, golf carts, and many wheelbarrows.
The infields were then raked and leveled, ready for the next games.
“Lakers were out in full force to get the job done,” said AD Jared Kullman. “It’s truly is great to be a Laker!”
Come check out the renovated fields this weekend on Saturday, April 13 when 5/6 Softball takes on Everest for a double header starting at 2 p.m.
