Welcome New Coach Samantha Bortz!

Many things inspire Samantha! Seeing someone overcome adversity and better themselves or a situation and seeing positive results of something each person has personally worked really hard at as well as herself.

Samantha's family inspires her as well as when she travels and exploring nature. One thing that she thinks is important is to keep your eyes and heart open as you go through life to find all kinds of things and people that can inspire you. 

Samantha is excited to work with young athletes that are new to the game. She looks forward to not only helping them learn the basic skills of volleyball, but also create a fun team atmosphere to really help them love the sport. 

Samantha loves the tight knit community that catholic schools create. "They are communities that embrace all members, and teach individuals of all ages the importance of being kind, empathetic, and respectful in all that we do", says Samantha.
