Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic School celebrates the multi-talented Rachel Ferguson. If you’ve been in our building, you’ve probably seen the hand lettering work of Rachel in the middle school hallway or in Mr. Kullman’s office. Rachel has talents across the board she is a member of the National Honor Society and the National Art Honor Society, played 4 years of tennis, earned the Society of Women Engineers Marie Curie Award for Excellence in Science and Mathematics, Student Council Vice President, and coordinated Red Cross Blood Drives. We could have asks any number of people to tell us about Rachel, including first grade teacher, Mrs. Ferguson, who also happens to be her mother, but we chose Laker art teacher Mrs. Ribits:

“Rachel is a very talented artist and musician. It’s has been wonderful to have her in my art classes and in the NAHS. All of her art work has been outstanding and and a highlight in all of the art shows that we have had at OLL. She has helped me with show cases, displays, her famous script handwriting and all things creative in my class, always encouraging others and leading in any challenges that might come up in art!”
