Advent Giving Tree

This year our gift program will look a little different.  Since the organizations we normally work with are unable to gather to sort the gifts or host a “store” there has been a decision to choose other charities to help.  Below is a description of the new charities. 

Please take a tag and return all items in a Christmas gift bag. Attach the tag to the gift bag and return it to the church by Sunday, December 20th.

St. Aloysius Parish Neighborhood Services

St. Aloysius Parish Neighborhood Services exists to provide emergency assistance for the homeless, working poor and seniors in the community.  St. Aloysius has provided us a significant list of needs that have been added to the giving tree.
 

Waterford Goodfellows

Each year the Goodfellows help families in Waterford with their Christmas needs.  This year they are not able to gather to sort the items that the parish so generously donates to them so they are asking for food gift cards to help feed the families that normally benefit from area charities as well as the schools. 

Mother and Unborn Baby Care

Mother and Unborn Baby serves women in crisis pregnancies and their families. MAUBC operates a pregnancy resource serving women of many varied backgrounds. Most clients reside in Oakland County or Wayne County.  See gift tags for the center’s needs

OLL Christian Service

Our Lady of the Lakes has needy individuals walk into the Parish Center almost daily in crisis situations.  To help those people we are in need of gas, food and clothing gift cards.
